The day started off as wonderful as the pile of pancakes that Emily had waiting for each weary drifter as they emerged their tents. Time was not rushed and each mile past was equivalent to one breathe of crisp clean air. The culmination of our motors was as deafening as a swarm of cicadas. We chased a locomotive to the bridges of Louisville were it gently placed us in a cool fresh stream. There we met some Louisville Lagoon Creatures who offered us opiates.... we consumed their ale instead. Ivan lead the pack to our final resting place to close the day. Upon arrival we were met with a closed gate. A rooster guided through Cemetery Gates were we contemplated laying our heads to pass the night sky until Ivan suddenly remembered a little hidden secret that was awaiting us just up the hill. It's rock face was the perfect place to wait out the sunrise.
