Of course this only applies to the artists that wish to fill their portfolios with game industry art.
If you chose that route, you may want to invest in a lawyer.

they told me at raven that it'd help my portfolio and that was worth more than any amount of money. fuck them. I never signed the no competition agreement and wouldn't agree to the non release of my work, needless to say, I didn't last there very long. Still have friends there however. the whole game industry is built up with tyrants and greedy clowns. (I was not a concept artist however, i was an animator)

Don't take any guff from the snobs brother. I was talking to Dan Collins at the Mooneyes show this weekend about how we as artists have to take the same shit whether it's a full time gig, freelance or owning your own design studio. People don't realize they are paying for our time and expertise and feel they should only pay us if they like the end result. Your stuff is the best out there bike wise, you got nothing to prove.
