Lately I can't stop looking at Matt's perfect panhead and it's got me really excited for Davenport next weekend. I took this photo of one of Carl Olsens perfect builds that blew my mind last year and I can't wait to see him and his family and what they bring out to this years event. Every year that the Davenport swap rolls around I'm broke as a joke which always turns out to be such a blessing in disguise. Rather than racing around trying to find those gems before everybody else I get to sit back and enjoy my friends that make it out from all over the country and gawk at some really choice machinery.

The wildlife was insane riding home from Sturgis. We almost hit a number of species including deer and mid-sized rodents. The birds were more like kamikazes...... pheasants, owls, hawks, pigeons, quail.... I was lucky enough to take a smaller fowl to the face.

I received an invite from my former Teacher/Boss/Mentor Tom Nowak; to his annual cook out this past weekend. The clouds were questionable but I rode to the Indiana border anyway to catch up with old friends. These are friends that I really have nothing in common with besides the that fact the we all take pictures. They are all great people and it was good to see everyone again.

Since I can't convert my raw files I will post this video of us riding home. Disregard the shitty sound. This was somewhere on the Wisconsin Iowa Border. Warren's new Knuck gave me goosebumps the first time I saw it.... and it fucking rips.

Home

My ears are still ringing from the ride home. Stories and pictures to follow after some much needed rest. I need to figure out how to convert my raw files since I'm shooting with a new camera and need something more than CS3. Hopefully I can get photos up sooner than later.

Called Donuts on Saturday morning and told him we're coming through in two hours and to pack light. He gave us the green light and we headed North through Wisconsin for some lakeside camping.
