Deer Tick

KEXP inStudio 10.1 - DEER TICK from More Dust Than Digital on Vimeo.

Makes me wanna drop the tailgate and hop a squat while the girl brushes the sand from the sweet spots. Skins tight from the salt in the water and the heat of the day while you watch the tiny white hairs on her stomach grab the sun for one last dance. She presses her sun baked shoulders into your chest and you get that oh so sweet smell of summer on a woman. The warmth of her skin sets in as you bury your face deep into her neck through the dirty blonde hair forever logging a memory of scent in the go to file. You push it just a little too hard and she calls you a jackass chased with a tiny laugh and a bad girl stare just to let you know she loves it. Summertime!

There are certain songs that I like even more when presented by Harlow. Another that comes to mind is his your narrative to Black Mountain's "Angels," a song I've loved and loved more since.
