4Q cam

Baker made a little discovery when he pulled the cam out of his Ironhead. Looks like Max has been squeaking his way inside some cases with a hammer and a punch.

Poor Sporty - Can they make lobes any smaller?

May be interesting to do some research on that scoot. I recall some club members, back east I thing, rolling with a small 4Q patch on the front of their vest's, and this was back in the 80s

Leave it to Mr. Decker to have something this.

ok this is the deal. my educated guess is:
the sporty cams are labeled 1-4 for each respective position that they belong in. and the "Q" is the reference code for the year and grind of stock H-D cams. Q cams are: 1976-1985 Int:222 deg and exh: 222 degree
.267 int..267 exh lift.

But it's a lot cooler to think that Max went in there and stamped em all.
