The Summer of '87...

I wish I could live over and over like Groundhog Day.
.
.
But you wanna know sumpthin' ? I can't.
.
.
So I have to let it go. Just like you, Brian; you need to just let it go.

Dude, went to this tour in Miami, 87 or 88, Metalica, Van Halen, Scorpians, Dokken and Led Zep clone Kindom Come. It was such a long show I fell in to a beer coma by the time Metalica played.

yeah no shit?! This one was in Pforzheim, Germany. Deep Purple headlined with Dio, Metallica, Ratt, Cinderella and Helloween!!! I remember it was like an hour walk to the outdoor stadium and it was 100 degrees out that day. saw a couple of corpses getting zipped up in body bags, had a hangover like 2 times- I was only 18.

That was my first concert when I was 11 years old. 11 hours of metal in Seattle's Kingdome (RIP). Whether it was Dokken's "It's Not Love", or Metallica's "Blackened", it all sounded like WHAAAAWAAAAAA!!! as amps cranked up to 11 reverberated inside a massive concrete dome. That place was terrible for rock and roll with those acoustics.

Now 2-stroke motocrossers on the other hand . . . .
