Come on California

Legalize it so we can take a permanent vacation. Vote your asses off tomorrow, if only so we can have a good time while they insert the computer chip. Not to mention we are sick of hiding shit on our motorcycles.

Sad thing is my bruthas, most Humblolt folks, growers that is, are voting against it. If it passes, they lose money. So, ironically, if it doesn't pass it will be the current growers that shoot it down.

You know what is sadder than that? U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder doesn't give a rat fuck what California votes, it's still gonna bring the hammer down.

voted for it and waiting to see what happens. funny thing is that it always smells like weed here in Long Beach so not really sure what to expect either way.

The ballot measure lost in the state's vaunted marijuana-growing region known as the "Emerald Triangle" of Humboldt, Mendocino and Trinity counties. Many in the region feared the system they have created would be taken over by corporations or lose its purpose.

according to the unofficial results:

53.3% of humbolt voted no,
53.0% of mendocino voted no,
59.6% of trinity voted no

while
52.6% of los angeles voted no,
58.0% of riverside voted no,
34.8% of san Francisco voted no,

so it is hit or miss, it wasnt sunk by just the emerald triangle.

you are correct growers may have voted against it -
but it wasn't just the growers, many who SUPPORT legalizing marijuana for adult use did NOT vote for it because of the way the proposition was written, creating several more 'hurdles' than alcohol which is LEGAL AND VERY LETHAL.

it's all chicken shit! how many people are gonna get their ass busted for grass in the next couple of years - that would have otherwise been able to apply their vivid imaginations to California's culture. fuckin bullshit.

the demographic that really wanted it to pass were too high to show up and vote.....ages 18-25 didn`t barely vote.... get off your asses people or the conservatives will be right.
