Those really were great old jeeps. Like the van bodied Econoline pick-ups, these jeeps were practical, easier to get in tight spots and a lot easier to repair than modern pick-ups.

I used to work landscaping and the guy I worked for had a couple of these. They were great around town for picking up and loading/unloading peat moss, trees, and bushes. But, on the highway, their steering was a little sketchy, and you didn't make any sudden lane changes or manuvers. They were fun to drive though, and the girls thought they were "cute" to ride in.
