The Road Home

It was painful to crawl out from underneath our shelters the next morning. We set up camp with the Minnesota Crew in the woods behind the bar. While packing up for the journey home constant reminders of what made our heads hurt so bad were strewn about. Brian acted like the little kid that wouldn't wake up for school and Hans Solo was gone without a trace. The sun was not kind enough to throw its rays at our backs but the rain was kind enough to only remind us it was there and could take us out at any minute.

camp

why set up a tent when you can just wrap up in it.

Eugene looking ready to roll

Eugene had only a handful miles on this bike before we left.... the bugs were worked out along the way. This was a common sight but he always had his shit under control.

Eugene.... I meant it in a good way. It was the bike's first ride.... of course it would have bugs to work out. You had it under control..... didn't bitch, cry or even need help... just took care of it. I was proud of you.
