1. KEY OFF
2. THREE SQUIRTS
3. FOUR KICKS ENRICHENER ON
4. RETARD
5. KEY ON
6. NO ENRICHENER
7. TWO SQUIRTS
8. QUARTER THROTTLE
9. ONE KICK..... FIRE!
10. ADVANCE

NO FIRE.... Curse Words....... Revert straight to Step 1.

    '67 xlh, mag, cv, 10:1, andrews cams

    cold:
    -retard mag
    -5 squirts
    -enricher on full
    -kick 3-4 times until puff of smoke from carb
    -2 squirts
    -bring #1 to comp stroke and kick it like ya mean it

    if the mag advances, limp around cussing while your ankle swells

    warm: retard mag, bring to compression, one squirt and kick.

    warm or cold, if there's a hot girl within sight, add "kick 45 times" and "pick self up from in front of the bike after it kicks back"

    5. LOAD UP THE KICKER AND SWING LEFT LEG DOWN AS I KICK (FOR EXTRA UMPH).

    1979 shovel....key off no enrichiner, six pumps on throttle, four kicks, key on two pumps one solid kick.... never failing... too bad my clutch pate set screw is backing out all day

    The four Linkert bikes I've owned:

    -Key off
    -Retard
    -Three kicks at full choke
    -Compression stroke
    -1/3 advance
    -Key on
    -Kick
    -Bike starts

    If it doesn't work that way, the timing is off of the valves are too tight. Often the latter, I've found.

    GBL carb no acc pump, pan shovel, sifton 590, 10.5-1 comp.

    key off, 1/4 advance, choke 3 clicks on, 2 draw thru kicks w/ throttle slighty open.

    look into throat to see a lil puddle.

    key on and load that left leg up cuz if u get caught sleepin it'll wreck your day. once runnin, off the choke, full advance the dist.

    stone cold she needs 2-3 hard ones, warmed up she's a one kick gal...unless there's a crowd :(

    1.) key off, enricher on
    2.) three kicks
    3.) key on
    4.) two kicks and bike starts on second kick every time.
    5.) enricher off, throttle lock on until it warms up

    w Mag . . .
    1. Put bike in 2nd gear
    2. Back it up against compression
    3. Mag at full advance
    4. Gas On - 3-4 shots
    5. Pull in the clutch and run
    6. Bounce on the seat- Let the clutch
    Fly - You receive the glory !
